MS Zaandam - Holland America Line

Offering 15 & 16 day circle cruises from San Diego and a 19 day circle cruise from Vancouver, Zaandam is a musically themed ship with music memorabilia (you will even find Bill Clinton's saxophone on board), whose unique feature is space, since the ship has been designed to carry less passengers per square metre than most other cruise ships.

The ship operates part of the year in Hawaiian waters and part of the year in Alaska.

The Zaandam has been designed to carry fewer guests so as to provide more space for maximum passenger comfort. The MS Zaandam is a prize in the mid-size ship cruising category. Spacious public areas and plush accommodations with many staterooms having their own private verandah.

The musically themed MS Zaandam has a great on-board atmosphere, which is inspired by the world's great music. Artifacts and memorabilia from a variety of musical genres decorate the ship. You'll discover musical instruments verying from Bill Clinton's saxophone to signed guitars from Queen, Iggy Pop, Eric Clapton and the Rolling Stones used as art objects throughout the ship.

At the very heart of the MS Zaandam you will find a soaring three-story atrium with a Baroque-style Dutch pipe organ, inspired by the traditional barrel organs still found on the streets of The Netherlands.
