The Sheraton Maui recently underwent a complete renovation. It offers a prime location, set amidst 23 ocean front acres at the widest and most sheltered stretch of Ka'anapali Beach, with some of the best snorkeling on the island, as well as spectacular views of neighboring islands, Lana'i and Moloka'i.
In the tropical landscaped gardens, with coconut palms, tropical blooms and expansive lawns, you will find an inter-twining fresh water-swimming lagoon, which leads into the main swimming pool. Also within the garden is an outdoor spa that is set amidst a lava rock landscape. There are poolside bars with evening entertainment and the hotels renowned sunset torch ceremony where young Hawaiian cliff divers honor their heritage each night by diving into the ocean from Black Rock.
The hotel has an all year round children's program (ages 5-12 years). A particular good feature offered by the hotel is its Ohana family suites these are spacious ground floor accommodations which dived off from the main bedroom is a lounge which can be converted into a bedroom as required.
