Volcano House is nestled 4,000 feet above the blue Pacific on the rim of Kilauea Crater amid a lush rain forest and the dramatic lunar landscapes of the Volcanoes National Park. A rustic cozy 42 room country inn that overlooks one of earth's natural wonders, Volcano House has rooms warmed by Hawaiian comforters that are furnished with traditional Koa furniture. This intimate old country inn, has been offering its guests its hospitality for over 140 years, indeed, a fire has been burning in its hearth since 1866.

Please note that clients must pay an entrance fee to get into the park where the hotel is located. The charge at the moment is $10 per car (subject to change), but the pass is valid for 7 consecutive days. As this is a National Park fee, clients must pay this directly to the park.
